Lunches made for the week, hooray for Sunday evening productivity!
Actually, knowing Dav… it’s probably just two days worth :)
Then I had a day off…
aaaaannnnd I felt like crap so I had to stay home alone while the sun was shining and it was not raining and it was Saturday :(
I will be awake and happy and welcoming for those who make an appointment to check into their apartment at 5:00am after an overnight flight.
I will be grumpy and tired for those who do not make an appointment but instead just ring my phone when they arrive three hours early (by choice, not necessity) to check into their apartments at 6:15am.
Don’t be a dick, it’s too damned early… and you’re making a bad first impression!
YOU MEAN TO TELL ME YOU DON’T THINK THERE’S ENOUGH SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT CLIMATE CHANGE?
BASICALLY, YES. I THINK THERE ARE TOO MANY CONFLICTING OPINIONS WITHIN THE GENERAL ‘CONSENSUS’ AND THAT IT’S FOOLISH TO TRY TO FORCE EVERYONE TO ACCEPT SOMETHING THAT EVEN ‘THE EXPERTS’ CAN’T AGREE ON, LET ALONE CHANGE THE WAY WE LIVE, JUST BECAUSE IT MIGHT BE TRUE. YOU CAN’T ASK EVERYONE TO BASE THEIR ENTIRE LIVES AROUND A HUNCH. IF YOU BELIEVE IT’S HAPPENING, FINE. DO WHAT YOU FEEL IS NECESSARY TO HELP, BUT DON’T START PREACHING TO ME ABOUT IT UNTIL YOU’VE GOT SOME COLD, HARD, IRREFUTABLE FACTS.
THAT’S INCREDIBLE. YOU JUST SUMMED UP MY ENTIRE OUTLOOK ON RELIGION IN TWELVE SECONDS.
- Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
- When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.
- Follow the three R’s:
- Respect for self,
- Respect for others and
- Responsibility for all your actions.- Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful…
I ALWAYS try to explain why I’m sorry and subsequently want to crawl into a hole… or apologize for the apology.

I know I once proclaimed ‘No Puppies.’
I take it back, I officially endorse all things ‘Puppy.’ Especially the Christmas Puppy.

Yay!
It’s a time-honored tradition at Navy homecomings – one lucky sailor is chosen to be first off the ship for the long-awaited kiss with a loved one.
Today, for the first time, the happily reunited couple was gay.The dock landing ship Oak Hill has been gone for nearly three months, training with military allies in Central America.
As the homecoming drew near, the crew and ship’s family readiness group sold $1 raffle tickets for the first kiss. Petty Officer 2nd Class Marissa Gaeta bought 50 - which is actually fewer than many people buy, she said, so she was surprised Monday to find out she’d won.
Her girlfriend of two years, Petty Officer 3rd Class Citlalic Snell, was waiting when she crossed the brow.
They kissed. The crowd cheered. And with that, another vestige of the policy that forced gays to serve in secrecy vanished.

I will stay positive while launching into a job hunt over break… and while spending Christmas away from my family.
